Yong Tau Foo with Yummy Minced Chicken Noodles
It was a quick pit-stop lunch at Fu Lin before running for a meeting. The last time I was here was years ago so I was quite happy to check them out again.
They have an array of over 20 items from vegetables, fishballs, cuttlefish to dumplings, beancurd and egg stuffed with fish paste. I particularly enjoyed the texture of the hard-boiled egg capped with fish paste. :)
What makes Fu Lin stand out is their dry noodles. The sauce seems thicker than I remember it to be years ago. Thick bee hoon is served with a savoury brownish sauce with minced chicken and garlic. I like. Very moo-reish!

Chew On This: If you do not want your yong tau foo items to be deep fried (which they usually do), tell the auntie and she will boil them instead!
