One Pot Wonder

Feeling hungry (no surprise there) and needing to chow down after a long hard week, I found myself with 3 friends and quite a few more dishes at Golden Mile Food Centre.

But moo-re about what we had in the next post.

This post is dedicated to the one pot that made me smile that evening.

The Chicken Claypot Rice (from $5 onwards. this is the $10 portion) was really yummy! The rice is cooked from scratch and takes about 20 minutes.

It turned out robust and flavourful with 2 types of lup cheong, crunchy cai sim and chunky pieces (not bits) of chicken. I particularly like the chicken- tender and with a very sexily s-moo-th texture.

Portion was also generous. I would be happy to have this pot all to myself! Moohehe.

Chew On This: The rice is first cooked over the gas stove then finished over charcoal fire!
