I woke up one Saturday moo-rning and found myself staring at the above plate at Obolo's new premise at 112 Katong. It was my first meal of the day it what a sweet treat it was. The cakes from left to right, were the New York Cheese (creamy yet light), Noisette (rich with crunchy textured bits) and Mango Passion Cheese (delicately perfumed with passion fruit).
The Kiss Macaron was dense and chewy with a nice deep chocolate flavour from the 70% dark chocolate couverture ganache made using Cacao Barry’s Origine Rare Saint Domingue. For alkies, moohehehe, ahem, the Champagne Macaron rocks like sweet alcoholic cream!
