A 9 to 5 job is bullshit. It might have existed years ago but in today's world, it is almoost extinct.
Recommended by Carrie Kan, I'm now reading The 4-Hour Work Week. While that is in progress, check this kway chap stall that operates only 3 days per week! Yes, many would certainly die for a 3-day work week. Moohahaha.
The Kway Chap is very good. Though I would have preferred the smooth, silky sheets instead of this floury, rough version, as a whole it was still worth the 15-min queue.
Chewy, springy pig skin and intestines that appealed with a robust flavour without any offensive odour usually associated with innards.
The braised pork belly is well flavoured with the braising sauce. We also ordered the tau kwa, tau pok, lor neng, tau kee. Dip the morsels into a tangy spicy chilli sauce for oomph.
Total cost for 4 pax was about $20.
Now to read up on that 4-day work week...
